THE ORLEANS
SURF FILM
FESTIVAL
CAPE COD
EVERY OCTOBER
THE FESTIVAL
The Orleans Surf Film Festival is an annual event that celebrates surf culture and all that is positive about riding, sliding, and gliding your way through life. Centered around the film festival that showcases local and national films, the weekend has grown to include a pop-up museum of Cape surf memorabilia with an extensive display of boards. There is an amazing offering of raffle items and all proceeds benefit scholarships for local high school seniors. Come to see old friends and old boards, leave with new friends and new boards...if you win the raffle!
The festival is held annually in Orleans, MA, home of the world famous Nauset Beach, and runs on a Friday & Saturday in late October. Both nights feature a selection of films, including local shorts and full length productions. We encourage kids of all ages to join us on Saturday for a family night out. No better "dinner and a movie" out there. Food and drink are available both nights. Doors open each night at 5:30, with films beginning around 6:15. Several intermissions throughout the night will allow time to explore the surf memorabilia, grab some food, and hang with friends. Daily schedules will be posted once all films have been selected, so stay tuned.
